Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

The Biarritz Annual English Speaking Convention will be held the 6th to 8th October 2023.
A .A Workshop Series : ” Always Remain Teachable ” April 22nd 2023 will take place at The library of the American Church the 22nd
The Saturday 5pm Anniversary meeting at the American Church will be closed on Saturday October 7 due to a church event.
Hot Grudge Sunday will not meet for the month of August, its group conscience has decided. Meetings will resume in September 2023.
AUGUST 5TH, 12TH, AND 19TH, The 10:30 AM BEGINNERS’ MEETING and the 5:00 PM ANNIVERSARY 2-SPEAKER MEETING will be held at the AMERICAN CATHEDRAL, 23 AVENUE GEORGE V, PARIS 8ÈME due to the closing of the American Church in August.
Tuesday night 7.30 PM women’s meeting will meet outside across from the church at the Quai d’Orsay for the month of August (grass area /seating across the street).
There will be a greeter outside of the church before the meeting to guide visitors.
If it is raining, the meeting will be held at Tabac de l’Université at 151 Rue de l’Université.
The Saturday 12:30 Living Sober meeting will transferred to 10 rue Sainte-Elisabeth, 75003 Paris for the entire month of August (Saturdays 5, 12, 19 and 26/8).
From 2 September the meeting will return to its usual location.
The 7pm Big Book Study on Monday and the 7pm Step Study on Wednesday at rue Madame will be closed for all of July and August. The meetings will start again on the 4th of September.
