Alcoholics Anonymous – Paris

Welcome to Alcoholics Anonymous Paris

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?

The AA Preamble

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

English-Speaking Paris AA (ESPAA) is now able to resume our in-person meetings between June 9 and June 30, 2021, provided certain conditions are respected:

  • Respecting the appropriate health safety measures: wearing masks and maintaining a distance of 1 meter between each person.

  • Respecting a limit of 65% of the authorized occupancy for the establishment open to the public (ERP, in French) concerned,

  • Respecting the curfew hours: between 6 am and 11 pm, until June 30, 2021,

  • Outdoor meetings: gatherings are limited to 10 persons in one group, so any larger meetings should split up into 10-person sub-groups.

Within our ESPAA community, the GSR is requested to notify all in-person/zoom meeting changes to alcoholicsanonymous.paris@gmail.com,

If you are ending the Zoom meeting when you open the in-person meeting please specify that, so that we can keep the website accurate.
